chris mikesell / KA LAMAKUA The lights go by as a student rides the UH Manoa Night Shuttle. It runs once every half-hour Monday- Friday during the semester until 10:45 p.m. |
Today at Ka Lamakua marks a change in the way we do things. We're switching from a semi-monthly format to a Monday-Friday daily webzine because we want to give our readers a reason to come back to Ka Lamakua every day.
Mondays will feature a section called "Don't Miss This," centered around stuff happening on campus during the week. Check it out before you make your plans for the week.
Tuesdays are for our new "Aesthetica" section, the new home of our fiction, fashion, and art coverage.
Wednesdays are hump days, so you can expect the food entries in our "Grindz" section to get you full enough to push you through the rest of your week with that oh-so-'ono feeling.
"Ticket Stub" Thursdays are your new one stop shop for film, theater, and concert event coverage.
Finally, Fridays are the day for "Gettin' Out" and making your escape, whether you want to break free from your campus cage or just want to venture out of the dorm for a spell.
If you're looking for our older content, though, fear not: all of our older stuff is still around in our archives.
Change is something that means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Today - Election Day - is all about change.
Don't be afraid of it - just grab it and hold the hell on.
