Amit is an intelligent young lad hailing from the lush fields of Danville, California. You may have seen Amit walking around campus not too long ago in his dashing white robe and mysteriously large beard, however, Amit has since left the monastic tradition and has instead chosen a lifestyle of sin (haven’t we all?). Just kidding. In his spare time Amit enjoys listening to and finding new music, wearing his Virgin De Guadalupe belt buckle, corny jokes, and sleeping at other people’s basements.
Currently Amit is studying philosophy at UH Manoa. He also interns at the Life Foundation, a non-profit which services the AIDS community. Upon graduation, Amit hopes to find an internship in the D.C. or New York area for a non-government organization working to resolve many of the problems that our society faces today. He has two older sisters and no videotapes or pictures from his childhood. Ladies and gentleman, Amit Kalra.
