Heisuke Kitazawa

forestation_000

Although his answers are terse, Heisuke Kitazawa’s art speaks at great lengths. His images are clean and graphic as PCP, his pseudonym; vibrant scenes of limp female bodies dangling mid air with earphones on and cryptic collages of odd objects strewn across compositions. Every image is a story of a place and a person for just a moment -- perhaps suggesting that this is the only moment in the subject’s life that is interesting enough to portray. Each piece feels like what a drunken Polaroid should really look like -- the eerie truth about a still frame.
